We invite you to take part in an event marking World Environment Day, titled:

“Green Challenge – 10 Minutes for the Environment”

Goal:
There are 525,600 minutes in a year. Let’s set aside just 10 of them for the environment we live in. The goal of this initiative is to encourage personal responsibility and raise awareness about the importance of small but meaningful individual contributions to environmental protection, with a special focus on this year’s World Environment Day theme – “Beat Plastic Pollution.”

Date: June 5, 2025
Time: 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM
Location: Maksimir Park, near the main stage

Planned Activities:
Each participant will take part in one of the following activities as part of the challenge:

• Perform a small eco-friendly action in 10 minutes, such as collecting litter found in Maksimir Park

• Join a workshop titled: “My Message to Nature” – create and write a short message or poem, or record a brief video message for future generations about environmental protection

• Create waste art from collected trash, or land art using natural materials

• Take part in a group photo for a time capsule

In addition to all the above, this event promotes healthy lifestyles, such as walking and spending time in nature.
