The General Assembly of the Alumni Club of Velika Gorica University of Applied Sciences was held on May 7 at the University premises, with the participation of former students, faculty members, and heads of departments. The event opened with welcome speeches by Dean Dr. Tamara Čendo Metzinger, Vice Dean for Science Prof. Dr. Sanja Kalambura, and the VVG Alumni Club Coordinator Dr. Martina Mihalinčić.

After reviewing and approving all proposed agenda items, the election of new Club bodies took place. The candidacies were presented publicly, and the election was conducted openly, with unanimous support from the members present.

During the Assembly, a new President, Vice President, Secretary, and members of the Executive Board were elected. In the upcoming period, they will lead the activities of the Alumni Club and develop projects aimed at strengthening the connection between former students and the University, as well as fostering relationships among the alumni themselves.

After the formal part of the Assembly, attendees continued socializing in an informal setting. Former students reconnected, exchanged contacts and experiences from the labor market, and shared ideas for joint initiatives and future collaboration with the University. Discussions also included the potential for mentorship, organizing professional workshops, and strengthening the alumni network through partnerships with industry.
