The Institut Supérieur International de Management (ISIM) from Nice, France, organized and hosted the International Staff Training Week, a professional development event for higher education staff. The event took place from 13 to 18 October 2025, and Antonio Klobučar, mag. geogr., mag. oec., Head of the Office for International Cooperation and Projects at the Velika Gorica University of Applied Sciences, participated in the programme as part of the EU Erasmus+ initiative.

The event contributed to strengthening institutional capacities for the implementation and coordination of international mobilities, expanding networks and partnerships with European higher education institutions, and enhancing the international visibility and recognition of the University.
A presentation about the Velika Gorica University of Applied Sciences was delivered to representatives of participating institutions, promoting VVG as an active and reliable partner within the Erasmus+ Programme and supporting strategic planning in the field of international cooperation through the exchange of experiences and knowledge with experts from various institutions.

Participants were introduced to numerous examples of good practices in international cooperation, mobility implementation, and the management of international projects. Particularly valuable were the insights into organizational models and approaches that enhance mobility coordination, improve interdepartmental communication, and ensure high-quality support for international students and staff.

The event also helped identify areas of shared interest among participants, especially in the fields of student and staff mobility and potential collaboration on international projects and programmes.
