Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme

Sustainable Solutions & Crisis Management Camp

The Sustainable Solutions & Crisis Management Camp blended intensive programme is organised by the University of Applied Sciences Velika Gorica and partners as part of the Eramus+ KA131-2024 project.

The programme will take place in 2024:

  • physical mobility week from June 3rd to 7th
  • virtual online period will start on May 13th

The first day of the mobility week will be spent at the University of Applied Sciences Velika Gorica (UASVG) campus where students will be introduced to the University and the city of Velika Gorica.

The mobility week will include a 3-day stay at the Crisis Management Camp near Velika Gorica at Jastrebarsko where students will participate in an field exercise. The exercise will deal with logistical support to remedy the consequences of a catastrophic earthquake by setting up a temporary tent settlement for the accommodation of vulnerable and injured persons. Students will participate in planning, preparation and construction of a temporary tent settlement, including moving equipment and supplies, setting up the site, furnishing the tent settlement, organising life and work. They will receive lectures under field conditions and practical training on the use of civil defence equipment and resources.

Final day will include students’ presentations, evaluation and a closing event at the UASVG campus in Velika Gorica.

Upon successful completion of the programme, students will be awarded a certificate and 3 ECTS.

Application

Applications are closed.

Students should fill out the application form in order to apply for the BIP. As the number of places is limited, your applications will be sent to your respective home institutions for ranking and verification. The ranking procedure and criteria will be determined by your home institutions.

The application deadline is April 15th, 2024.
