Year 2016
The University of Applied Sciences has again this year drawn up the documents which define the activities regarding the implementation of the quality system based on the ISO 9001:2008 standard:
- Annual plan of internal audit of the quality system 2016
- Program of internal audit of the quality system 2016
According to the Annual plan and program an internal audit is performed at the University of Applied Sciences Velika Gorica, and this year also a recertifying audit has been planned.
Year 2015
The SGS Company has performed at the University of Applied Sciences Velika Gorica a control audit according to the ISO 9001:2008 standard of 19 June 2015 with the following goals:
- to verify whether the management system is in compliance with the requirements of the Standard;
- to verify whether the organization is efficiently applying the quality management system;
- to verify whether the management system is capable of achieving the goals and the policy of the organization.
It has been determined that the documentation keeps up with the standard requirements, that the current system is efficient and that it is being constantly updated. No discrepancies have been found and some minor suggestions for the improvement and enhancement of the system have been given. The University of Applied Sciences has also received praise regarding the communication of the vice-dean for teaching affairs and the heads of departments with the students by using the information technology infrastructure!

Year 2014
At the 5th special session of the Expert Council on quality, on 20 February 2014, the University of Applied Sciences adopted the documents that define the activities regarding the implementation of the quality system based on the ISO standard 9001:2008:
This year, at the University of Applied Sciences Velika Gorica an audit has been planned for the prolongation of the certificate, i.e. regarding recertification.
Recertification audit of the University according to standard ISO 9001:2008 is planned for 6 June 2013 beginning at 9 a.m. according to the Auditing Plan of the SGS certification agency.
Year 2013
At the 3rd special session of the Expert Council on quality, on 30 January 2013, the University of Applied Sciences adopted a document that defines the activities regarding the implementation of the quality system based on ISO standard 9001:2008. With the Plan of activities regarding quality assurance ISO 2013 the University of Applied Sciences Velika Gorica established in 2003 a quality assurance system according to standard ISO 9001:2008 which is defined in more detail in the latest amended Quality Manual of 16 February 2010. NEW! The SGS Company performed at the University of Applied Sciences Velika Gorica a control audit according to standard ISO 9001:2008 on 11 June 2012 with the following goals:
- to verify whether the management system is in compliance with the requirements of the Standard;
- to verify whether the organization is efficiently applying the quality management system;
- to verify whether the management system is capable of achieving the goals and the policy of the organization.
It has been determined that the documentation keeps up with the standard requirements, that the current system is efficient and that it is being constantly updated. No discrepancies have been found and some minor suggestions for the improvement and enhancement of the system have been given. The report was presented at the 9th session of the Expert Council held on 5 July 2012 and the session of the Governing Council held on 5 July 2012.
