Objective of course of lectures: To gain basic knowledge in mathematics as a basis for all courses of lectures, where relations are mathematically proven and values are calculated. |
||||
Content of course of lectures: 1. Real and complex numbers – aggregate of real and complex numbers and equations. 2. Planimetry and trigonometry – angle, triangle, quadrangle, trigonometry of orthogonal triangle, trigonometric circle. 3. Analytical geometry – coordinate system, directrix, second-order curves. 4. Functions – definition, area of definition, function characteristics, inverse function, linear functions, square function, exponential function, logarithm function, limit function, function continuity. 5. Differential calculus – concept of derivation, definition, differential of a function, rules of derivation, monotony intervals, extremes, concaveness and convexness, asymptotes. |

General and specific competences (knowledge and skills): Having passed the exam, students will be able to make calculations in courses of lectures in the field of optics. |
