Clinical Practice II.

Course Aims: The requirement of this module is that the student examines and presents  detailed case records that demonstrate experience of the contact lenses fitting,  low vision detailed case and skills in working with children, especially with pre-school children in optometric practice. In this course students will learn how to obtain the case history and interpret patient information from other professionals, they will learn how to recognise and manage all eye conditions with diagnostic instument (slit lamp, OCT, etc..). Also they will learn how to use a systematic understanding of the various techniques for investigating children’s visual functions and ocular health, how to prescribe and apply contact lenses to children and know how to perform all testing for contact lenses.
