Research Methods

Course Aims: To illustrate the importance of measurement and decision making in visual science; to introduce statistical methods of analysis and their application; to understand research ethics and principles involved in conception, design, conduct and completion of research projects; to be able to choose and use appropriate statistical tools; to be able to refer to journal papers and literature and to be able to provide  appropriate resources for conception, design, conduct, and completion of research projects. Students will learn how to structure a literature review and they will also learn how to understand the organization and developing skills for project work.
